*Stand up comedian Robert Schimmel died Friday in a Phoenix, Arizona hospital where he was being treated for injuries he sustained in an August 26th car crash.  Schimmel's 19-year-old daughter Aliya was driving the car when the accident happened and his 11-year-old son was in the back seat.  Both are expected to make a full recovery.  Schimmel was 60 years old.

 

*Tiger Woods finished 10 under par and tied for 11th at the Deutsche Bank Champtionship in Norton, MA.  Charley Hoffman won the tournament at 22 under par.  After Tiger's final round yesterday, he said he was satisfied with how he played and his game is improving.

 

*Contrary to rumor, Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband says he is NOT making plans to preserve his wife's body in plastic. . . because she's still alive!

 

*There is some hot news coming from the home of Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore.  Kutcher is denying rumors that he cheated on his wife.  Ashton wrote on his Twitter acount that Star magazine is completely false in their accounts and he's going to get his lawyers to contact them.

 

*The former CBS news producer convicted of blackmailing David Letterman has been released from jail.  Robert Halderman served four months in jail after pleading guilty to attempting to extort two million dollars from the Late Show host.

 

*Jerry Lewis told "Inside Edition" that if he saw Lindsay Lohan, he'd "smack her in the mouth."  And if that didn't do any good, he'd spank her.  He said Lindsay and celebrities like Paris Hilton are like children begging for help.

 

*Bristol Palin is getting her share of the celebrity spotlight.  She'll compete on Season 11 of Dancing With The Stars.  Wow.

 

*Paris Hilton will be charged with a drug felony for possession of a controlled substance.  She was pulled over by Vegas police on Friday night and the cops found .8 grams of cocaine in her purse.  If convicted of the felony charge, she could go to prison for up to four years.

 

 

*Today show host Matt Lauer recently sat down with Sandra Bullock and the actress talked all about her son, Louis.  She told Matt that Louis is the first boy in her family, and is like their "crown prince." She calls the seven month old her "little Cajun cookie."

 

*Lindsay Lohan is settling back into her life after her short stint in rehab.  People magazine reports that the starlet is back to her routine of staying out late and drinking energy drinks.  Friends of the 24-year-old actress reportedly are worried that she won't be able to stay sober because she left rehab so soon and is back to her old habits

 

*Michael jackson's children, Prince and Paris, will no longer be homeschooled.  According to TMZ, the teens are attending a San Francisco private school this year.  Their younger brother, Blanket, will still be homeschooled.  Prince and Paris are attending The Buckley School, which was also attended by Paris Hilton, Matthew Perry, Alyssa Milano, Nicole Richie and Kim Kardashian.

 

*Levi Johnston is taking back the apology he made to Sarah Palin.  Johnston, who has been engaged twice to Palin's daughter, Bristol, says he regrets apologizing for comments he made about the politician.  In the past, Levi has claimed Sarah is a bad mother and addicted to fame.

 

*Brett Michaels says he's feeling good and will have surgery to fix the hole in his heart this January.
